In-Home Lactation and Infant Feeding Consultation
A 60-120min visit with a lactation consultant in your home. Includes in-home physical assessment of baby and mother, observation of a breastfeeding and/or bottle feeding session, suggestions to help you achieve your goals.
Within 24h of your visit, you will get a full written assessment and feeding plan from your RN IBCLC. This plan will include all topics discussed during the visit, strategies for the future, helpful links, videos, and recommendations based on your unique needs.
Best of all: you get unlimited email follow-up after our visit, for the duration of your infant feeding journey! Questions about breastfeeding, bottle feeding, infant development, and newborn life can all be sent my way!

In-Home Follow-Up Session
This service is available for clients who have had an initial consultation with me an are seeking additional support or experiencing ongoing lactation and infant feeding challenges, including tongue-tie revision aftercare, incorporating solids into baby’s diet, returning to work, etc.
In-home follow-up session usually take approx. 1-2 hours and the unlimited email support continues!
$175 + GST

In-Home, Personalized Prenatal Class
Prenatal education in the comfort of your own home! Provided by a Registered Nurse and Lactation Consultant who currently works in labour and delivery and provides care to new moms and babes every day.
This service can be tailored to you and your goals. Available in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
Topics can include:
- Birth basics: a presentation covering labor, pain management, birth interventions, pushing techniques, and more. As a labour and delivery nurse, I want you to feel confident and prepared!
-Lactation, Infant feeding and newborn care basics. This covers breastfeeding, milk supply, pumping, bottle feeding, infant formula, and newborn safety and care expectations.
Feel free to take notes and ask questions as we go!
This session takes up to 4h, depending on your learning needs.
$275 + GST

Provided by Milkbud Lactation and Mamabear Playclub: instructors are all nurses with experience in Labour and Delivery, Postpartum, and NICU!

I currently accept payment via etransfer (sheena@milkbudlactation.ca) and I will provide you with a full receipt that you may submit for reimbursement, dependent on your health coverage or health spending account. Direct billing is not currently available.
I am an approved provider through Alberta Blue Cross, Sun Life, and Provider Connect (which covers Green Shield Canada, RBC Insurance, Empire Life, and SSQ Insurance).
Since every plan is different, I always recommend that you check your coverage and requirements for reimbursement for Registered Nurse Home Care or out-of-hospital nursing care.
