MILKBUD INFANT FEEDING & PRENATAL

My vision is to help all parents gain confidence with the infant feeding experience by providing realistic practical, and non-judgmental support and education.

I have been a Registered Nurse in Labour and Delivery since 2010. I absolutely love providing care for moms and babies! The vast amount of false information, judgmental attitudes and online negativity surrounding infant feeding inspired me to achieve my designation as an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2019.

I use my training, experience. and expertise to bring the best, non-judgmental, and empowering prenatal education and infant feeding support to my clients.

  • "I booked with Sheena out of desperation because my baby suddenly wouldn't feed at the breast; therefore, I quickly started pumping and realized my supply was low and realized I needed help. It was middle of the holiday season (booked with Sheena on Dec 27 but she wasn't available until Jan 4) but Sheena responded to my desperate plea for help over email to tie us over until Jan 4 when she could come by. She's helped significantly over the subsequent 3 months - always responding promptly to my many emails. Although my son is still not feeding at the breast (we are exclusively pumping now), Sheena helped educate me and I'm hoping for a better nursing experience with my future children. 10/10 recommend. Highly recommend you book in with Sheena BEFORE you have breastfeeding concerns so she can help set you off on the right foot."
