Sheena Tabbert RN IBCLC
My last 16 years working in labour & delivery have been so incredibly fulfilling. I love supporting new families as they journey through their labour and birth, and into parenthood.
I gained my accreditation as an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2019 after becoming frustrated with the pressure, guilt, and conflicting information that new parents often experience with breast and bottle feeding.
My in-person prenatal classes started as a partnership with Mamabear Playclub in 2023. As a very nervous public speaker, this endeavor was very unexpected! Amanda and Andrea of Mamabear were so encouraging and, when they stepped back to focus on other career endeavors, I decided to continue on. Teaching groups of expectant parents is so exciting and I love answering ALL of the questions.
We pride ourselves on making our classes a safe space where we can share our wishes and fears about birth in an open and honest way. All of your questions are welcome- believe me, we have seen and heard it all!!
